Hands-On Experience
We believe that the best way to learn is by doing. That's why we provide our students with hands-on experience from day one. You'll work with real clients in our salon, getting the experience you need to succeed in the beauty industry.

We understand that our students have busy lives. That's why we offer flexible scheduling options so don’t hesitate to contact us with your concerns and circumstances. We will do our best to accommodate you.
This cosmetology program is designed for completion in 50 weeks(Full Time) for a total of 1500 clock hours.
Part Time Students generally take 19 months for completion.

Core Curriculum Tuesday-Friday 9am to 5:30pm
Continuing education is twice a month on Mondays

Admissions Requirements
Minimum requirements: 16 years of age, High School Diploma, GED or Recognized Equivalent. (Additional admissions requirements may apply. Please contact the admissions office for more information)

Here at Image Beauty School of Design, we work hard to keep our tuition affordable while not only maintaining our high standards, but also continually improving our programs.
There is a financial plan for every student at Image Beauty School of Design which may include federal loans and/or grants, state programs, private funding, payment plans through Image Beauty and/or scholarships.
Federal Financial Aid- Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.
In order to determine if you are eligible for Federal Financial Aid, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may complete the application online.
*Not all programs are eligible for Financial Assistance.

Delaware Licensing information
License Title: Cosmetologist
Required School hours: 1,500
General: All Applicants must be 16 years of age or older and completed at least 10th grade. A criminal history may be a bar to licensure. Please review Section 18 to see if this applies.

Licensing Examination Information: Theory and Practical examination required. The Delaware Licensing Examination is conducted through Prometric. For additional information on the Delaware examination visit https://www.prometric.com/test-takers/search/nicde
